Examination Pattern

Objective type question paper 100Marks    (  )

Minimum 50% marks in the examination will be made compulsory for receiving the advanced (PG) diploma in physical therapy.

The course material training at the end of course period (8 hours/day) will be provided by school of physical therapy.

the successful candidates will be provided with:-

  • Bombay hospital advanced (PG) diploma in physical therapy or clinical certification.
  • Course transcript
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Performance credits (Based upon merits for future courses.)

Course fee - Rs. 2500/- (Entrie course)+ Rs. 150/- for out station correspondence or Rs. 1000/- for certificate courses.

Draft to be sent in favour of - 'Bombay hospital -indore" or by cash to be deposited at finance department (first floor), bombay hospital-indore.

Pattern of Study : The Pattern of Study Includes applied aspects of orthopaedic physical therapy with specific attention towards basic orthopaedic medicine, advanced surgical interventions and physical therapy management.

The entire syllabus is divided into 6 modules. Each Module shall be studied for one month. Each module has 5 sections divided into different chapters. The candidate shall not limit his study only to the course material, but should take adequate references from other books in the field of orthopaedic medicine. Orthopaedic Surgery and complete orthopaedic rehabilitation including areas such as advanced physical medicine, manual therapy and applied advanced physical therapy interventions. Daily atleast three hours of self-study is required. The candidate is supposed to update his knowledge by learning and studying all the new researches and techniques in orthopaedic physical therapy. To accomplish the same candidate has to adopt system of studying through multiple references, while clinical exposure in those topics shall be either from school of physical therapy Bombay Hospital, Indore or local work place if found satisfactory by us.

At the End of Six month if the candidate or we are not satisfied with local workplace clinical exposure than 12 days of practical demonstrations and applied clinicals shall be accomplished in school of Physical therapy, Bombay Hospital , Indore

Note : 

The candidate being a physiotherapist shall be considered technically aware with fundamentals of Orthopaedic Medicine, Surgery and Orthopaedic Physiotherapy. 

At the end of both the practical training and theoretical study in orthopaedic physical therapy from all the advanced clinical references and guidelines provided from our course material and with adequate justification to the syllabus, the candidate is then supposed to qualify for our advanced P.G. Diploma in orthopaedic Physical therapy examination.
