Department of EEG,EMG & Clinical Physiology

Bombay Hospital indore is equipped with a state of the art department for neuro-physiological studies. Both Electro-encephalo Graphy and Elctro-myography units are acquired from "Medelic Oxford". These are today the best and the most advanced software. This has a digital monitoring with a facility of video EEG. EEG is needed for patients with unexplained headache, epilepsy and vertigo. In the first year of this department we have managed to perform over 350 EEG procedures.

The Oxford Medelic EMG unit has facilities to carry out nerve conduction studies. Needle EMG, Evoked Potenial, VEP, BAER and SSEP procedures. About 340 EMG Procedures have been performed in the first year of this department.

Pulmonary function test is an important test performed for patients with respiratory disorders and for pre-operative assessment. Bombay Hospital Indore has a spirometry unit acquired from Jaeger. It helps in estimation of lung volumes, capacities and lung functions. Over 600 spirometry tests have been performed in the first year of this institute.

The Urodynamic laboratory has a uroflom acquired from the status Medical System, India. This is a baseline test done to assess the urinary bladder function. This helps to assess the bladder tone and bladder outlet obstruction.
